You will find God on the other side of your surrender to Him.
I was never able to experience the fullness of God until I surrendered everything to Him. It is very difficult and painful to surrender your dreams, plans, time, talents, and possessions to God.
Painstaking questions begin to arise such as: Will I ever get those things back? What will my life look like if I surrender these things? Am I going to miss out? What will people think? Am I going to regret it?
Surrendering to God is a huge leap of faith that requires patience, trust, and abiding in Jesus. However, I can assure you that one day you will look up and realize that you have gained more than you have lost. It would come to your attention that you have found joy, peace, favor, and intimacy with the Father—things this world could never offer.
Surrendering to Jesus is the best decision I have ever made- and I will keep surrendering to Him because I have found life more abundantly with Him the more I surrender. Jesus is the prize and He is worth more than anything this world has to offer.
I challenge you today to surrender everything to Him because, in doing so, you will find everything you were searching for all along.
“Whoever find their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it” (Matthew 10:39).
