When Noah started building the ark, I can only imagine the mean looks, mockery, criticism, and threats he received. Everyone laughed, until the rain started to fall. When Nehemiah and his men were rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem, they had to work with one hand and hold a weapon with the other hand (Nehemiah 4:17). It’s not easy. We see the pretty ministries, businesses, and blogs, but we don’t see the blood, sweat, and tears that went with it. The sleepless nights… Heavy spiritual warfare… The painful tests… And the “Why Me?” Yes, it’s heavy and tough, but worth it. Obedience is never easy, it requires grit and sacrifice. But you can do it. Keep pushing and leaning into Jesus. When the rain comes, you will be glad that you didn’t give up. Love,
